Grandma’s Lasagna

This super easy recipe came from my grandmother.  She makes the absolute best lasagna ever!  Although, it never seems like mine comes out as good as hers.  I’m still working on it, but I think that she’s holding out on a secret recipe.  Try it out and see what you think!

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 box of lasagna noodles, uncooked
2 lbs ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 quart of spaghetti sauce
3-4 cups of mozzarella cheese
3/4 c boiling water

  • Brown beef with onion; drain.
  • Lay out the noodles on the bottom of a 9×13″ pan.
  • Layer noodles, meat, spaghetti sauce and cheese.
  • Repeat so there are 3 layers in the pan.
  • Cover with tin foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes.
  • Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Serves about 8.
