One Dish Pasta

I’m not feeling like making a very labor-intensive meal tonight, so I’m taking the easy way out.  I checked out my freezer, refrigerator and pantry.  Tonight’s meal… One dish pasta!  Here’s what you need:

1 (16 oz) bag of rotini pasta (cooked according to directions and drained), 1 lb browned ground hamburger, 1 small onion, 1 jar spaghetti sauce, 2 c shredded mozzarella cheese.

Combine all ingredients and place in an oven safe 8×8 pan.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Serve with your favorite garlic bread.  This dish serves 5-6 people.

In case you don’t have garlic bread on hand, or feel like making your own, here’s my garlic bread recipe:

1 loaf french bread, 3 Tbsp margarine or butter, 6 cloves garlic minced

Slice bread in half length-wise.  Spread butter and garlic on both sides of sliced bread.  Wrap tightly in tinfoil and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes.
