Smoky Sweet Pepper Shrimp

I recently went to a Taste of Home’s cooking show.  I love to cook and LOVE to try out new recipes.  This recipe was one that they demonstrated and I knew that my family would totally love it.  I came home and made it the very next night.  Since, it’s become one of our staple meals.  It’s so easy and quick to make after a long day.

Here’s what you’ll need:
3 Tbsp butter
1 pound uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 Tbsp McCormick Smoky Sweet Pepper Seasoning Blend (I’ve substituted a little bit of cayenne pepper, paprika and old bay seasoning before as well in place of the pepper seasoning)
1/4 cup white wine
Hot, cooked rice or couscous
1/2 c golden raisins
Lemon wedges

In a large skillet, melt butter over low heat. Add shrimp; cook and stir over medium heat 5 minutes or until shrimp turns pink. Stir in seasoning blend and wine until shrimp are well coated. In a large, shallow bowl, mix together rice and golden raisins. Top with Shrimp mixture and garnish with lemon wedges.

This recipe serves 4.
