What’s in a Roomba?

And, do they really work? I’ve seen all sorts of these commercials for these automatic vacuums, mop roombas, and even a special dirt roomba; but I want to know if they really do work?!? It’s a great concept – from what I understand, you turn the timer to clean at a certain time and the roomba can cover so many square feet, you come home from work, and viola, your floor is spic and span!! Who wouldn’t love to have their own personal maid to clean the floors?

My kids are constantly dropping little crumbs all over the floor. Between breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, it’s impossible to keep my floors crumb free! I know that I spend a significant amount of time cleaning up after them, and I’m sure others do as well. I’d love to know your thoughts and experiences with this product. If they work, I’m definitely interested in purchasing one; I’d love to free up some more time in my day! Also, if you have a roomba that you want to send me to try out, I’d more than gladly test it on my floors with my messy kids to see how it measures up! I look forward to hearing your thoughts! Thanks!
